Pandev "happy" at Lazio
by Richard Field, 06 January 2008
Lazio striker Goran Pandev insists his future is at the Serie A club despite speculation that he could be in line for a move to Tottenham.
Bayern Munich have also been tracking the Macedonian, but the Roman club have denied the player is for sale.
“I have been at Lazio for four years and I feel very happy here,” the 24-year-old said.
“I like living in this city. I have been in Italy for eight years in total and I want to gain Italian citizenship because it is here where I want to live.”
If any club does table a bid for the player, Pandev would not jump at the opportunity to move.
“I would have to think long and hard about it, even if Lazio were to accept an offer for their own economical reasons.
“I am a Lazio player and money is not all that important.”
