QPR announce historic kit deal

Queens Park Rangers announced a new £20 million kit deal with Lotto Sport Italia, and then declared they will not go throwing money around like neighbours Chelsea.
Rangers’ five-year deal is the most lucrative in the club’s history, and provides yet another example that they are the heavyweights of the Championship.
Club chairman Flavio Briatore confirmed the new kit would retain the traditional blue and white hoops, but he refused to be drawn on where the money would be spent.
“It’s between us and our sporting director the players that we are thinking of,” stated Briatore.
“Otherwise when I try to buy players the price becomes 10 times bigger.
“You only have to look at what has happened with Chelsea. We are working to ensure that if we go up we will stay up and not come straight back down.
“We will not throw money away. Even though we are wealthy there is no blood to suck. QPR is QPR. Chelsea is Chelsea.”
