Moyes shopping for best of British

David Moyes has outlined his desire to ensure that his Everton side have an abundance of British talent as they look to clinch the final Champions League spot.
The Toffees boasted five English players, four of which made up the defence, in their recent draw with West Ham and the 45-year-old boss believes that it is important to have a homegrown contingent.
“We put a lot of effort into scouting in the UK to see if we can find the right players. Now our buying is to be in the top six so it has changed a little bit. I am very keen to keep bringing in British boys,” Moyes told www.leaguemanagers.com.
The Scotsman has gained a reputation for bringing through young English talent with the likes of Wayne Rooney, Leon Osman and James Vaughan coming through the ranks at an early age at Goodison Park.
“I am very keen to have young players consistently. The Manchester United group that came through ten years ago were well known and that helped their football club,” Moyes said.
