Nyron targets unbeaten run

Nyron Nosworthy has so much confidence in his Sunderland team-mates and his own ability to beat the drop that he believes The Black Cats can go unbeaten for the remainder of the season.
Roy Keane singled out the defender for special praise after his side’s 1-0 win at Aston Villa at the weekend, and Nosworthy has taken that encouragement and tried to spread the love around.
“On paper we have a run of games where we should pick up a good few points,” Nosworthy told the club’s official website.
“The aim is to go undefeated until the end of the season
“That might sound like a big ask but we can do it, it’s possible if we keep our attitude. We are playing with confidence, we look solid and we’ve got to keep doing it.”
Sunderland face West Ham at The Stadium of Light at the weekend as they look to break a two-game losing streak at home.
“We need to go for the jugular against West Ham,” continued Nosworthy.
“We need to start well, get the crowd going and give them no breathing space.
“As usual the fans will make a difference. We were so pleased that we gave them something to cheer about at Villa.
“That was one of the most pleasing things about Saturday because they have followed us everywhere this season with little reward.”
