Boruc ready for new challenge
by Tom Adams, 26 March 2008
Artur Boruc has revealed he is ready to leave Celtic and has invited Bayern Munich to make an offer for him in the summer.
The Poland international signed a new contract in January but then subsequently claimed that he will be allowed to leave Glasgow for a fee in the region of £10 million.
Bayern Munich striker Lukas Podolski, born in Poland, recently urged the German giants to make a move for Boruc and the keeper is clearly contemplating a new adventure.
"I feel very good in Glasgow but I would like to change environment,” said Boruc in the Scottish Daily Express. "I would like to try something new.
"I don't want to leave desperately but if a good club comes along, why not?
"One report says that Bayern want me, while the other claims it is not true. There is no offer from Bayern.
"They are, however, a big club that I would consider if they said they wanted me."
