Prso urges Boyd not to quit Gers

Former Croatia international Dado Prso has revealed he told Scotland hitman Kris Boyd to never quit Rangers.
Prso compares Boyd to Juventus and France star David Trezeguet, insisting he has a natural knack of being in the right place at the right time.
Boyd is likely to start on the bench against Prso’s countrymen at Hampden Park on Wednesday, after George Burley publicly backed Walter Smith's deployment of the striker as an impact substitute.
Speculation continues to simmer over a future move for the man who scored two goals in the recent CIS Insurance Cup final, but Prso admits he told Boyd to stay.
"When I was here, I told Boydy never to leave Rangers," said Prso.
"He has not been at Rangers for long and he is young as well. I think he can really improve himself. It's just a matter of time."
Elaborating on his comparison with Trezeguet, Prso added: "When you put a ball into the box, the ball is going to go to Boydy. Even if there were 20 players in the area.
"Trezeguet has that and Boydy does as well.
"Maybe he does need to improve some of his game, such as running, defending and taking up better positions. But he has something other players don't have. I had a nice partnership with him. I like Boydy.”
