Wenger may rest 'jaded' Ade

Arsene Wenger has hinted that he may rest Emmanuel Adebayor for Arsenal’s trip to Bolton on Saturday.
The striker has been on a barren spell in comparison to his blistering goal spree in the earlier pasrt of the season, with just one in his last eight games.
Now Wenger has revealed he may leave the Togo international out because he fears he may be ‘jaded’ as the season reaches its climax.
"He did not score recently because as a team we have made less chances, and also physically he was a bit jaded because he has played in nearly every single game since the start of the season," said Wenger.
"I believe he has given a lot this year and that he would need a little breather, maybe.
"He played a lot on his own up front and has had to fight very hard. At the moment, to refresh him a bit would do him some good.
"I have [Nicklas] Bendtner there, I have [Robin] Van Persie coming back, but Adebayor is an important player in our squad."
Wenger also said it would be ‘crazy’ for he and his players to give up hope on the Premier League title, even though The Gunners sit six points adrift of leaders Manchester United having led by five points not so long ago.
"Not to believe it now would be crazy," the Arsenal manager said.
"That would be a shame because we have worked so hard and fought so hard.
"However, the belief is maybe less strong than when we were five points ahead."
Wenger added: "Certainly now we cannot drop any points in the direct game with Manchester United. We are in a situation where we have to win that.
"But before dreaming of the title, we have to show we can be consistent again and win games."
