Degen responds to Liverpool reports

Degen: Reds reports

Philipp Degen has responded to speculation suggesting he is on the brink of signing a three-year contract with Liverpool.

Swiss reports claimed the Borussia Dortmund full back had made his mind up to head for Anfield but Degen claims there are a number of sides in the frame to sign him.

"There is nothing to it," he told Ruhr Nachrichten. "I have not signed anything.

"Also with Liverpool, it is definitely not simmering.

"Two or three clubs are interested me and BVB [Dortmund] have made a concrete offer.

"But there is no decision. Still not."
