Huntelaar tempted by Ajax stay

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar admits he may be ready to turn his back on a move to Manchester United due to the imminent arrivals of Marco van Basten and Dennis Bergkamp at Ajax.
Huntelaar has been dubbed the new Ruud van Nistlerooy after scoring 70 goals in 82 league games for Ajax, while his international record of six goals in 11 appearances is far from shoddy either.
United are expected to go on the hunt for a striker this summer as they look to replace the injury-prone Louis Saha, and Huntelaar reportedly tops Sir Alex Ferguson’s list.
However, Ajax have responded to a disappointing season by enlisting Van Basten as head coach for next season, while Bergkamp will take on a trainee position.
Undoubtedly two legends of Ajax Football Club, Huntelaar admits the opportunity to work with two former world class forwards could be too much to resist.
"They are the top of the bill to work with", Huntelaar stated in Ajax’s club magazine.
"I really admire what they have achieved. I think I can learn a lot from these two strikers. That can be an important factor when I decide upon my future."
