Hull have only won in one of their last six meetings with Watford – but this came in their 3-0 victory in their last fixture against the Hornets.
The away side has only scored one goal in the last four meetings between the two sides and are likely to be without the creative juices of Jay-Jay Okocha whose knee injury could keep him out until Wednesday's second leg.
However, Phil Brown will have Okocha's former Bolton team-mate Henrik Pedersen available after a calf problem, while Richard Garcia is also ready to return.
Watford have not managed to win in any of their last five fixtures and Adrian Boothroyd will be concerned that he may have a lack of firepower on Sunday.
Darius Henderson will be serving a one-match ban, while Steve Kabba is doubtful, meaning Tamas Priskin is likely to start.
Watford have only scored five goals in their last ten matches in the league and only managed to collect eight points from their last ten matches – only bottom of the league Colchester managed fewer (six).
Prediction: 1-1
