Davies wants 10 defenders

Kevin Davies wants 10 Bolton players to defend against Chelsea on Sunday, as The Wanderers can only be relegated if they concede an avalanche of goals at Stamford Bridge.
Bolton fans will not see their favourite team in a very offensive mood on Sunday in West London, as attacker Davies says the entire team will defend.
Manager Gary Megson has told the supporters not to expect ‘champagne football’ against Chelsea, and Davies says he want 10 players to be behind the ball to defend against Premier League title competitors Chelsea.
“It’s only goal difference now that can affect us so we’ll go to Chelsea and put 10 men behind the ball,” he told The Sun.
“Hopefully if we do that we’ll be okay.
“We have to go down to Chelsea and do the job.
“Once we’ve done that we can focus on next season.
“It looks like we are nearly out of it but now we want to finish well at Chelsea and put this season behind us.”
