Palace hotshot close to Spurs deal

It would appear that Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has resigned himself to losing precocious teenage talent John Bostock to Tottenham.
The 16-year-old midfielder has risen through the ranks at Selhurst Park and made his debut earlier this season at the tender age of 15.
Spurs had reportedly been trailing the youngster in recent weeks with an offer nearing, and now Warnock has said he believes the Eagles Academy product is on his way to White Hart Lane.
“I have been told he is going to sign for Tottenham,” said Palace’s manager in the Daily Mirror following his side’s Championship play-off defeat at the hands of Bristol City.
"I don't honestly know. I've been told he's going to sign for Tottenham but I'm not sure. I'll be speaking to his dad.
"It's disappointing really if that's the case because I've not been told myself. But these big clubs can do what they want, can't they?"
Bostock is an England Under-17 international and has captained his national side at that level, and he has made five appearances for the South Londoners this season.
