Berb would reign in Spain, says great

Dimitar Berbatov has been told to sign for Barcelona by his former manager of Bulgaria, Hristo Stoichkov.
Stoichkov, who managed Berbatov for three years while in charge of the national team, knows a thing or two about what it takes to play for Barcelona, having graced the Camp Nou in two spells as a player during the 1990s.
The 42-year-old believes Tottenham’s silky striker would be welcomed at Barca were he to decide to play in Spain.
Berbatov’s future appears increasingly likely to be away from White Hart Lane, with Milan rumoured to be admirers, but Stoichkov would like the 27-year-old to follow in his footsteps as a player.
Stoichkov said: "I would invite him to play for Barcelona immediately.
“He will always be welcome in Spain in the event that he decides to play in this country."
