Bendtner: Link denied

Nicklas Bendtner's father has quashed speculation linking the Arsenal attacker with a move to Roma or Milan.

The Denmark striker was strongly linked with a switch to Serie A in Wednesday's Corriere dello Sport but Thomas Bendtner, who also acts as the player's agent, has been quick to dismiss the links.

"It is not something we have heard a sound about," he told Bold. "Not at all."

Bendtner is focused on continuing his development under Arsene Wenger and the uncertainty regarding Emmanuel Adebayor's future means it is highly unlikely the Gunners boss would consider offloading the 20-year-old, who scored 11 goals last season.

The young hit-man famously clashed with Adebayor during a Carling Cup tie with Tottenham but there is little doubting his potential.

As to his cockiness, I think all great strikers have to have that edge to think that there is no one that can stop them, so that doesn't bother me at all. I'm sorry, but Ade has had one good season at Arsenal, if it wasn't for us, he would not be playing at the level he is, ie. Champs League, 60thousand stadium... I spent my hard-earned cash on going to see the Arsenal at the weekends, for Champions League, I book off work so I can get into London and down to the Arsenal to be there for kick-off. Next season, I do not want to turn up and see this waste of space playing in the red+white, FUCK OFF ADEBAYOR... Your a PRICK! Robbie Keane is a very good footballer but worth £20million i'm not sure. £18million for Barry and £12million for Alonso!! Jesus is it just me or does EVERYONE else see that as terrible business?? Rafa has a plan that he obviously thought Barry would be the perfect cog in his midfield machine but maybe next year, maybe not.
